Ingredients of Patta Gobhi Matar Masala Recipe
- Cabbage - 250 gm
- Green peas - 100 gm
- Onion - 50 gm
- Green chilies - 5
- Finely chopped ginger - 1 Teaspoon
- Chopped tomatoes - 50 gm
- Oil - 3 Tablespoons
- Cumin seeds - ½ Teaspoon
- Asafoetida - ½ Teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Coriander leaves - 2 Tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 2 Tablespoons
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
How to Make Patta Gobhi Matar Masala
Step 1: In a frying pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds.
Step 2: Once they crackle add asafoetida. Add onion and ginger and fry for 4-5 minutes.
Step 3: Add cabbage, peas, green chillies, turmeric powder and salt.
Step 4: Cover and cook for ten minutes on LOW flame.
Step 5: Add red chilli powder, tomatoes and mix them well.
Step 6: Cook uncovered for five minutes or till oil separates.
Step 7: Add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
