Ingredients of Mexican Chili Con Carne Recipe
- Minced meat - 500 gm
- Soaked red kidney beans (rajma) - ¾ Cup
- Oil - 4 Tablespoons
- Garlic flakes - 4
- Finely chopped onion - 1
- Tomato puree - 2 Cups
- Sugar - 1 Tablespoon
- Salt to taste - 1 Teaspoon
- Pepper - ½ Tablespoon
- Red chili powder - 2 Tablespoons
How to Make Mexican Chili Con Carne
Step 1: Take a pan and add oil heat it. Now, add garlic and fry for 1 minute.
Step 2: Add the onion and fry for another 2-4 minutes.
Step 3: Now, add mince and cook for 10 minutes until it becomes golden brown.
Step 4: Then add ¾ cup water and give two whistles and then remove from fire.
Step 5: After the pressure drops, dry the mince and add tomato puree, sugar, pepper, salt, boiled beans, and red chili powder.
Step 6: Now, pour the mixture in a greased casserole, cover it and bake for 30 to 35 minutes in a SLOW oven at 150°C
