Ingredients of Matar Wali Kadhi Recipe
- Shelled peas - 1 ½ Cups
- Gram flour (besan) - 4 Tablespoons
- Curd - 1 Cup
- Garlic paste - 1 Tablespoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Red chili powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Black cardamoms - 2
- Cloves - 4
- Black peppercorns pepper - 6
- Garam masala powder - ½ Teaspoon
How to Make Matar Wali Kadhi
Step 1: First, beat the curd well. Add besan and garlic to it and mix it well.
Step 2: Then, Add 2 cups of water, salt, turmeric powder, red chilies, black cardamoms, and black peppercorns and green peas to the besan-curd mixture.
Step 3: Now, Pressure cook to give one whistle and keep on LOW flame for 5-6 minutes. Remove it from the fire.
Step 4: Garnish it with garam masala powder and green chilies and serve hot.
