Kachi Haldi Ki Sabji
Winter brings lots of fresh vegetables which are only available during this season. One of them is green turmeric, or we Gujarati call it Lili Haldar. Ingredients of Kachi Haldi Ki Sabji Recipe
- Onion paste - 500 gm
- Tomato gravy - 500 gm
- Green Haldi - 750 gm
- Green garlic - 750 gm
- Green peas - 250 gm
- Ghee - 500 gm
- Curd - 500 gm
- Ginger-chili paste - 250 gm
- Ginger - 100 gm
- Fresh coriander leaves - 200 gm
- Shredded Jaggery - 1/2 Cup
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 Teaspoon
How to Make Kachi Haldi Ki Sabji
Step 1: Wash the green Haldi and then Peel and chop into small pieces.
Step 2: In a skillet, add ghee and add Kachi Haldi to it and saute it for 4-5 minutes. Keep stirring so it will not get burnt.
Step 3: Now, add green garlic, onion paste and saute it for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Then add tomato gravy, green peas, and jaggery to it and mix them well.
Step 5: Once the vegetables are getting cooked, add ginger to it and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 6: Now add ginger-chili paste, salt, red chili powder and mix them well and again cook for 4-5 minutes.
Step 7: Once it cooked, add curd to it and mix it.
Step 8: Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves, and your delicious Kachi Haldi ki sabji is ready to serve.
Step 9: Serve it with hot Makai roti or Bajra Roti or Bhakhari.
