Ingredients of Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe
- Carrot (gajar) - 1 Kg
- Milk - 1 Liter
- Mava (khoya) - 200 gm
- Castor sugar - 300 gm
- Ghee - 50 gm
- Cardamom powder - ½ Teaspoon
- Cashews nuts - 10
- Pistachio - 10
- Almonds - 10
How to Make Gajar Ka Halwa
Step 1: wash, peel and grate the carrots with a mandolin slicer.
Step 2: Now, add milk and grated carrots in a thick bottomed pan and put it on LOW flame. Let the mixture boil and then simmer it. Keep stirring the mixture.
Step 3: when the milk reduced half of its real amount, then add khoya (mava), sugar, and ghee and cardamom powder to it and mix well.
Step 4: Keep stirring continuously and simmer it on LOW flame.
Step 5: Then add cashews, pistachio, and almonds to the mixture and simmer until all the milk burn.
