Bhang Lassi
Bhang Lassi is an Indian beverage made from the cannabis plant leaves. Holi is a festival of colors and its celebrated across India. Different state has different sweets, snacks which are eaten on the occasion of the Holi, but Bhang is ubiquitous drink on Holi which is common in all the states. Ingredients of Bhang Lassi Recipe
- Cannabis (bhang) - 20 gm
- Warm whole milk - 2 Cups
- Sugar - ½ Cup
- Coconut milk - 1 Tablespoon
- A Pinch of Garam Masala
- Water - 1 Cup
- Grenadine - ½ Teaspoon
- Powdered ginger - 1/6 Teaspoon
- Coconut milk - 1 Tablespoon
- Chopped almonds for garnishing - 1 ½ Tablespoon
How to Make Bhang Lassi
Step 1: Take a Deep pan and add 1 cup water to it and let the water boil, then add cannabis (bhang) to it.
Step 2: Let the water boil and simmer for about 10 minutes, then strain it.
Step 3: Now, add milk to the sieved cannabis and grind it well until it is thoroughly mixed.
Step 4: Add more milk to cannabis and repeat this procedure for all the cannabis.
Step 5: Now, add chopped almond to it and again grind it.
Step 6: Strain the mixture and pour the coconut milk, milk, hot boiled water into a deep container.
Step 7: Now, add ginger powder, garam masala, and sugar to this mixture and mix them well.
Step 8: Now, put this container into the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to completely cool.
Step 9: Once Bhang lassi is become cold, its ready to serve.
