Ingredients of Sev Mamara Recipe
- Puffed rice (Mamra) - 1 Bowl
- Nylon sev - 2 Cups
- Red chili powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Powdered Sugar - 1/2 Tablespoon
- Oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 Teaspoon
- A pinch of asafoetida
- Curry leaves - 5
How to Make Sev Mamara
Step 1: In a kadhai, add two tablespoon oil and once it heated add mustard seeds to it. When the mustard seeds start crackling, add asafoetida to it and then add puffed rice to it.
Step 2: Then add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, curry leaves, and sugar powder to it and mix them well.
Step 3: Once the puffed rice becomes crispy, add nylon sev to it and cook for 2-3 minutes and then remove the kadhai from the heat.
Step 4: Transfer the mamra into the bowl and once it’s cool serve it.
